【摘要】:Thetestmethodissuitableforthedevelopment,specificationandqualitycontroltestingoffluorescentandnon-fluorescentcoatingsthatareintendedtobeinspectedfordefectsunderSpecificationE2501illumination.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheinstrumentalmeasurementoftheluminanceratioofafluorescentcoatingorsheetsamplewhenilluminatedbyanarrowbandsource.1.2Thistestmethodisgenerallyapplicabletoanycoatingorsheetingmaterialhavingcombinedfluorescentandreflectiveproperties,wherethefluorescenceisactivatedby405nmlight.1.3ThistestmethodisintendedasacompaniontoSpecificationE2501tosupportthedevelopmentandspecificationofindustrialcoatingsthatareusedinasystemfordetectionofcoatingdefectswheninspectedwiththeSpecificationE2501lightsource.Thistestmethodestablishesaquantitativemeasureoftheopticalpropertyofacoatingthatcorrelatestoitsabilitytoenhancedefectcontrastunderthespecifiedinspectionlightsource.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
