【摘要】:Itisrecognizedthatcertaindesignsofthecamsusedinthecompoundingsystemsofarcherybowscausevariationinthepercentoflet-offwithchangeindrawlength,drawweight,orboth.Thisistrueparticularlywiththestyleofcamthatachievesdrawlengthadjustmentbyeffectivelyalteringthelengthoftheshootingstringbyanyofseveralmethods.Inthiscase,themid-drawlengthandthemaximumdrawweightobtainable(butnottoexceedthemaximumratedweightofthebow)shallbeusedtodeterminetheofficialpercentoflet-offforthebowinquestion.Historically,twomethodshavebeeninusetoestablishthepercentoflet-offforarcherybows.Themostcommonmethodusesthepeakdrawforceandtheminimumholdingforcereadfromtheforce-drawcurvetocalculatethepercentoflet-off.Thesecondmethodusesthepeakdrawforcefromtheforce-drawcurveandtheminimumholdingforcefromthelet-downcurveforthiscalculation.Thistestmethoddefinesthetwomethodsanddistinguishesbetweenthem.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheproceduretobeusedtodeterminethepercentoflet-offforarcherybows.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
