【摘要】:Intheabsenceofdeflectionmeasurementsfromactualinstalled-above-groundpiping,thistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluatetheinfluenceofspanlengthonmid-spandeflectionsatdifferingtemperaturesunderfullboreflow.Note38212;Aflatbearingarea,smallcontactarea,andnarrowbearingwidthmayinducehighlocalizedsupportinteractionstresses,andconstraintsimposedbythesupportsmayalsoadverselyinfluencedeflectionsandperformanceofthepipe.1.1Thistestmethodcoversmeasurementofthedeflectionasafunctionoftimeofaspecimenoffiberglasspipesupportedonaflatnon-arcedsupportasasimplebeamunderfullboreflowofwateratelevatedtemperatures.Bothglass-fiber-reinforcedthermosetting-resinpipe(RTRP)andglass-fiber-reinforcedpolymermortarpipe(RPMP)arefiberglasspipes.Note18212;Forthepurposesofthisstandard,polymerdoesnotincludenaturalpolymers.1.2Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminedeflectionatvaryingconditionsbysubstitutingothertestmedia.1.3Deflectionsobservedusingthistestmethodarerepresentativeonlyofpipingsupportedasasimplebeamunderfullboreflowwhichhasonediameterofpipeoverhangingateachsupport.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
