【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecompositionandphysicalpropertiesofspray-appliedcellulosicfiberstabilizedthermalinsulationappliedtoopenorclosedceilingspaces,regardlessofslope,wheretemperaturesrangefrom-49to194F(-45to90C).1.2Stabilizedcellulosicfiberthermalinsulationisproducedbytheadditionofadhesive(s)toloose-fillcellulosicfiberinsulation.Theadhesive(s)maybeaddedtotheinsulationattimeofmanufactureand,ifnecessary,activatedbytheadditionofwaterwheninstalledortheadhesivemaybeaddedtotheinsulationatthetimeofinstallation.1.3Thisisamaterialspecificationthatisnotintendedtodealwithmethodsofapplicationthataresuppliedbythemanufacturer.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
