【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardspecifiesflameandgraphitefurnaceatomicabsorptionspectrometricmethodsforthedeterminationofthetime-weightedaveragemassconcentrationofparticulateleadandleadcompoundsinworkplaceair.1.2Themethodisapplicabletopersonalsamplingoftheinhalablefractionofairborneparticles,asdefinedinISO7708,andtostatic(area)sampling.1.3Thesampledissolutionprocedurespecifieshotplateormicrowavedigestion,orultrasonicextraction(11.2).Thesampledissolutionprocedureisnoteffectiveforallleadcompounds(seeSection5).Theuseofanalternative,morevigorousdissolutionprocedureisnecessarywhenitisdesiredtoextractleadfromcompoundspresentinthetestatmospherethatareinsolubleusingthedissolutionproceduresdescribedherein.Forexampleifitisdesiredtodeterminesilicatelead,ahydrofluoricaciddissolutionprocedureisrequired.1.4Theflameatomicabsorptionmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationofmassesofapproximately1to200956;gofleadpersample,withoutdilution(1).Thegraphitefurnaceatomicabsorptionmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationofmassesofapproximately0.01to0.5956;gofleadpersample,withoutdilution(1).1.5Theultrasonicextractionprocedurehasbeenvalidatedforthedeterminationofmassesofapproximately20to100956;gofleadpersample,forlaboratory-generatedleadfumeairfiltersamples(2).1.6Theconcentrationrangeforleadinairforwhichthisprocedureisapplicableisdeterminedinpartbythesamplingprocedureselectedbytheuser(seeSection10).1.7Anionsthatformprecipitateswithleadmayinterfere,butthispotentialinterferenceisovercomebytheadditionofthedisodiumsaltofethylenediaminetetraaceticacid(EDTA)whennecessary.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
