适用范围
本标准代替GB/T 11260-1996《圆钢穿过式涡流探伤检验方法》和GB/T 17990-1999《圆钢点式（线圈）涡流探伤检验方法》。
本标准规定了圆钢涡流探伤的术语和定义、原理、检验方法、对比试样、检验设备、检验条件和步骤、结果的评定、检验报告等。
本标准适用于直径为2mm～100mm圆钢（含钢丝）的表面和近表面缺陷的涡流探伤。
其他规格可参照本标准执行。
本标准与原标准相比，有如下变化：
———头、尾人工缺陷的位置由原标准距两端不大于200mm 修改为不大于100mm；
———用于穿过式线圈检验的人工缺陷形状，将原加工成矩型或Ｕ 型纵向槽，修改为矩型或U型横向槽，并将原标准中的人工缺陷尺寸采用的相对值和绝对值统一修改为绝对值；
———用于放置式（点式）线圈检验人工缺陷尺寸采用的相对值和绝对值统一修改为绝对值；
———根据穿过式线圈检验的特点，增加了钻孔方式加工的人工缺陷，并确定了参数；
———人工缺陷尺寸等级增加了“圆钢产品标准公差之半做为探伤标准”的条款；
———仪器的校准时间由原标准的每隔2h校准一次，修改为每隔rh校准一次。
