【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestotheBASICSAFETYandESSENTIALPERFORMANCEoflaserequipmentforeithersurgical,therapeutic,medicaldiagnostic,cosmetic,orveterinaryapplications,intendedforitsuseonhumansoranimals,classifiedasaCLASS3BorCLASS4LASERPRODUCTasdefinedby3.22and3.23inIEC60825-1,hereafterreferredtoasLASEREQUIPMENT.ThroughoutthisInternationalStandard,lightemittingdiodes(LED)areincludedwhenevertheword“laser”isused.NOTE1RefertoDefinition3.49inIEC60825-1.NOTE2LaserproductsfortheseapplicationsclassifiedasaCLASS1,1M,2,2MorCLASS3RLASERPRODUCT,arecoveredbyIEC60825-1andIEC60601-1.IfaclauseorsubclauseisspecificallyintendedtobeapplicabletoMEEQUIPMENTonly,ortoMESYSTEMSonly,thetitleandcontentofthatclauseorsubclausewillsayso.Ifthatisnotthecase,theclauseorsubclauseappliesbothtoMEEQUIPMENTandtoMESYSTEMS,asrelevant.HAZARDSinherentintheintendedphysiologicalfunctionofMEEQUIPMENTorMESYSTEMSwithinthescopeofthisstandardarenotcoveredbyspecificrequirementsinthisstandardexceptin7.2.13and8.4.1oftheGeneralStandard.NOTESeealso4.2oftheGeneralStandard.Thisstandardcanalsobeappliedtosurgical,cosmetic,therapeuticanddiagnosticlaserequipmentusedforcompensationoralleviationofdisease,injuryordisability.
