【摘要】:ThispartofISO14592specifiesamethodforevaluatingthebiodegradabilityoforganictestcompoundsbyaerobicmicroorganismsinnaturalwatersbymeansofacontinuousflowrivermodelwithattachedbiomass.ThispartofISO14592isapplicabletoorganictestcompoundspresentinlowerconcentrationsthanthoseofnaturalcarbonsubstratesalsopresentinthesystem.Undertheseconditions,thetestcompoundsserveasasecondarysubstrateandthekineticsforbiodegradationwouldbeexpectedtobefirstorder("non-growth"kinetics).ThispartofISO14592isapplicabletoorganictestcompounds,whichundertheconditionsofthetestandatthechosentestconcentration,are:—watersoluble;—quantitativelydetectablewithappropriateanalyticalmethodsoravailableinradiolabelledform;—non-volatilefromaqueoussolution(e.g.Henry'slawconstant<1Pa·m/mole);—notsignificantlyadsorbed;—notphotolyzed;—notinhibitorytothemicroorganismsofthetestsystem.Thetestisnotrecommendedforuseasproofofultimatebiodegradability(mineralization)whichisbetterassessedusingotherstandardizedtests(seeISO/TR15462).
