【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinqualitycontrol,materialscreening,andrelatedproblemsolvingwhereacompositionalanalysis,orcomparisontoaknownmaterial,isdesired.Theparametersdescribedareguidelinesandmaybealteredtosuittheanalysisofotherrubbercompounds.Thistestmethodisnotsuitableforrubbercompoundscontainingfillermaterialswhichdecomposeinthetemperaturerangeof50x00B0;Cto800x00B0;C,forexample,CaCO3,Al(OH)3(3H2O),etc.Analysisofcompoundscontainingfillersofthistyperequiresknowledgeofthefillertypeandsomecorrectionformassloss.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesathermogravimetric(TGA)techniquetodeterminetheamountsoforganics(oil,polymer),carbonblackandash(filler)inarubbercompound.1.2Theamountofplasticizer/oilmaybedeterminedseparatelyusingTestMethodD297.1.3Thistestmethodutilizespreviouslycalibrated,manualorcomputerassistedTGAinstrumentation.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
